How CenterPin Works:


Our Program involves a proven a 4-Step Process:


1. Meet with the Business Leader


We meet with the business leader to understand the issues and concerns that prompted them to seek our assistance. Working with the business leader, we look to define the specific objectives and expected outcomes from our role in this process.


2. Executive Interviews & Evaluations


We meet with key members of the executive team in order to evaluate the situation as presented to us by the Business Leader. These informal discussions put the executives at ease and build the rapport and trust that will be needed as we facilitate the future workshop. We identify patterns of issues, concerns and opportunities between all the interviews and use these insights to prepare for the workshop.


3. Strategic Prioritization Workshop


The workshop with the executive team typically follows a prescribed format and process as follows:

  • Review the overall objectives of the session
  • Review the results of the Executive Interviews
  • Discuss alternatives and options regarding ways to achieve the objectives
  • Reach agreement around the top priorities, who will be responsible and accountable for each, the resources committed to each priority and agreement that by necessity, some projects or initiatives may have to be delayed or eliminated in order to focus on what matters most.
  • Using our template, everyone will agree on a crisp set of mutual team objectives and a handful of monthly checkpoints for everyone to track progress and identify early signs of impediments or strategic drift. (Our proprietary 5-minute Compass accountability tool)
  • Using our template, everyone creates their own weekly, mini-Pulse Survey that identifies their personal objectives that support the company’s overall strategic priorities. (Our proprietary mini-Pulse Survey tool)

  • 4. Monitor Progress, Address Impediments and Maintain Momentum


    We continue to work with the Business Leader and the Executive Team to review the Compass and Pulse results each month. Follow-up workshops, phone conferences and executive coaching of the Business Leader and/ or the Executive Team can also be part of the process.
