CEO Advisory:

CEOs have unique needs that cannot, and should not, be satisfied with feedback from their colleagues or Board members. Sometimes they just need a confidential and independent sounding board who is unattached to any particular outcome under consideration. They need the unfiltered perspective that only a trusted, outside advisor can provide.

Since 1999, we have served in the capacity as an outside advisor and a confidential sounding board to provide an independent perspective to CEOs and Boards. CEOs and executives have long understood why it's lonely at the top. Nearly everyone has a story of betrayed confidences - not always malicious in intent - but damaging nonetheless. A moment of weakness or doubt shared "in confidence" with the wrong colleague, subordinate or Board member can result in damaging consequences.

At the core of our confidential advisory relationship is a level of trust where a CEO can safely explore matters such as: Board relationships, executive performance issues, lack of trust within the team, succession planning and potential business combinations. CEOs are free to explore various business issues and scenarios impacting their direct reports, without concern regarding motives, leaks or allegiances – valid concerns when highly-sensitive business options are contemplated...especially for public companies.

Our work is characterized by candid, independent business counsel and a perspective that's free from bias, political distortion or hidden agendas. Our counsel leverages the unique access, experiences and lessons learned from the corner office suites and boardrooms of some of the world’s most recognizable companies. While the client always sets the agenda based on current issues, in nearly every exchange there is a discussion about leadership impact and the business performance of the executive team. Personal growth plans may also be discussed, including: managing a growing number of outside commitments, improving personal effectiveness, communicating with greater clarity and making a greater leadership impact.

Let's have a conversation about how a confidential relationship and a trusted, independent sounding board can increase your leadership impact and the results of your executive team and company.
